What this building is all about
Mr. Postma 01/29/10 11:17 AM CST

Yesterday and today I was touched by the worship during our Spiritual Emphasis Week. We have been focusing on our theme verse, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." I Thessalonians 5:11

The kids heard about:

  • Building their lives on solid ground
  • Placing Jesus as the cornerstone of our lives
  • Creating strong walls of brick by living lives of character with the fruits of the spirit
  • Using the windows of our lives to see the needs of people around us and letting His light shine through us
  • God provides a roof of protection for His people

It was an important reminder that this building that is going up is for these and future kids, to His praise and glory. This building will allow Lafayette Christian School to continue to effectively build His kingdom in the hearts and lives of these students.
