Congratulations to Chloe Tuinstra, Shelby Temple, and Carolyn Wetzel who participated in the Patriot Pen essay competition through the VFW. Chloe won first place at the local and district level. Shelby won third and Carolyn won fourth place at the local level. Chloe read her essay at a special banquet that recognized all three for their placings. Yay Chloe, Shelby, and Carolyn!
We also want to thank Emily and Judi for their excellent work in helping these students achieve such high levels in writing. Thank you for your diligence even when you get tired!!!! Thank you for providing so many opportunities for LCS students to blossom! We are so blessed to have such wonderful junior high teachers!
