Spiritual Emphasis Week 2012 at LCS is January 23-27.  Please pray for our students, staff, and speakers this week!  We are excited to be studying our theme this year of "Excellence for God."  Students will be attending chapel each day, and parents are invited to attend as well.  The Elementary Choir, LEGO, will sing one song each day, and addtional worship music will be lead by LCS Parent and Victory Christian Center Pastor Cory Kent and friends.  Here is a schedule of the topics and speakers:

Monday -Excellence in Athletics - Kelly Kitchel (LCS parent and former Purdue football player) and Andy (Bubba) Day (Purdue basketball player)

Tuesday - Excellence in Service - Jason Hendrick (LCS parent and physician)

Wednesday - Excellence in Relationships - Mr. Wright (Camp Tecumseh)

Thursday - Excellence in Music - Karen Goff and Brigette Knox (Musicians and wives of staff)

Friday - Excellence in Worship - David Henderson (Pastor of Covenant Church and Parent of LCS Alumni)

This fantastic week will be capped off with our Picnic/Praise night, Friday, January 27 at 6:00 p.m.  Worship will be led by LEGO and Cory Kent.  Families should bring their own picnic and a dessert to share with others.  This will be a wonderful time of praise and fellowship, so please plan to attend!
