We were led to enroll our daughter at Lafayette Christian School for several reasons.  Primarily, it was our desire to place our daughter in an loving atmosphere where she would receive a spiritual training and nurturing during her young formative years that reinforces what she is taught at home and church.  We found that at LCS.  Secondarily, we wanted our daughter to learn and receive a top quality education with a biblical worldview so that she would be equipped to live in a world that needs to know the Jesus of the Bible.  You will not find a place that does these two things any better than Lafayette Christian School.

I first discovered my passion for science in a 4^th-grade classroom at LCS, and my intent in a future of scientific inquiry was sparked in a middle-school science course.  Lafayette Christian’s emphasis on honoring God through science and seeing God’s hand in the world around me have guided my academic endeavors ever since.

I visited every Christian school in the area when deciding where to enroll my son for kindergarten. None seemed to be a perfect fit until I walked in the door at Lafayette Christian School. Once I had toured the building and had a chance to meet the warm, friendly staff, I was sure that Lafayette Christian was the right choice for my son. I now have two children at LCS. As a single parent, it is not always easy especially when you are trying to provide a private education. Many times there are sacrifices, but watching my boys grow in knowledge and faith makes it worthwhile. I was looking for a school with spiritual content, high academic standards, and a family atmosphere. I have found that and more at Lafayette Christian School.
