WELCOME TO LAFAYETTE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL TRIP PROGRAM!

TRIP stands for Tuition Reduction Incentive Program and is a GREAT incentive to reduce your family tuition at Lafayette Christian School.

How can TRIP reduce my tuition?

We utilize the services of a national broker to purchase gift certificates from various national merchants.  Many local merchants are involved as well.  Because these merchants want to support non-profit organizations, they offer a discount from the face value of the certificates.  This discount is credited directly to YOUR tuition account.  The more you and your family and friends utilize the program, the more you directly reduce your tuition!

How does TRIP work?

The TRIP program is run weekly through the school year and every other week in the summer.  A family account number is assigned to you with your first order.  Other family members and friends can order on your order form or can register for their own account number with the earnings directed to your family.  Accounts can also be set up for future families before children are enrolled at LCS and the earnings will be held until the child starts school.

When do I receive the tuition credit?

Credits are posted directly to your tuition account on April 1^st and November 1^st.  Your monthly tuition payments for April and November will be reduced by the credit you have earned.

How do I order?

In the main hallway is a TRIP bulletin board with various types of information from merchants.  Order forms are located next to the black mailbox.  Please fill out a TRIP registration form with your first order.   Orders must be placed in the TRIP mailbox by 8:15 AM on Monday mornings.  Checks are to be made out to Lafayette Christian School TRIP.

Processed orders are distributed in the front hallway on Wednesday from 2:45-3:15 PM and Thursday from 7:45-8:15 AM.  During the holiday season, delays of an additional day are often experienced.  Also, with my work schedule, the order may be occasionally delayed by 1 day.  The gift certificates/cards are just like cash so we are not responsible for lost or misplaced certificates once you have signed for them.

How lucrative is TRIP?
