Welcome to the admissions section of our website.  If you have landed on this welcome page, you are probably considering Lafayette Christian School for your family. That’s great!

As you are considering our school, you may be wondering if a private Christian school is the way to go for your children.  What are the advantages over a public school?  Here are some things to think about:

Students at Lafayette Christian School are:

Rooted in the Word of God. From preschool through 8th grade students study the Bible and memorize verses daily.  Our graduates KNOW the scripture. Students learn that God permeates all of life and every subject they study.  Your child is not defending their faith in the formative years; they are forming it.

Guided in Christ-like character development.  Knowing the scripture should lead to applying the scripture daily in the way we love, forgive, serve, and have compassion for those around us and for the world.  Loving teachers reinforce these qualities in their daily life that you are endeavoring to teach at home.

Surrounded on all sides by a safe, supportive Christian community. Students learn and grow best when they can focus on academics and feel safe, loved, and known.  Teachers, administrators, and staff work to know, support and challenge each unique child.  Lifelong positive friendships are developed between students and families.  A small school and small student-to-teacher ratio lead to a school community that feels like an extension of the home.

Engaged using the best academic instruction the Greater Lafayette area has to offer.  LCS teachers combine time-tested methods, cutting-edge partnerships with Purdue, STEM integration, and high performance standards while remaining committed to excellent instruction in art, music, and physical education. The Indiana Dept. of Education has awarded LCS the distinction of an "A" Rated School, a Blue Ribbon School, and a Four-Star School.
